Hosting a Community Food Drive

It is estimated that one out of seven families in America is currently experiencing food hardship, meaning they can’t always afford the food they need. Those affected are not just numbers. They are real people. From your elderly neighbors with mounting medical bills to the family in your community that is forced to choose between heating the house in winter and putting a meal on the table.  For others, it’s the unexpected job loss, illness or catastrophic event.
Today, I am asking for your support. With your actions, you can make a difference in the lives of so many in the fight against hunger. By simply organizing a Food Drive in your community over the next 90 days, you can help to support those that have no other means to find a decent meal. Certainly you can find someone on your team that can take on the task of organizing a Food Drive. The benefits of bringing together your community leaders and sharing the blessings we all have will shine a bright light on your company’s efforts to make a difference.
If you agree with me that sponsoring a community Food Drive is a good thing to do, then you’re probably wondering “how can I start?” Well here’s a link to a great source of information.
Here at PrintFast, we want to do our share, too. If you take on this challenge to organize a community Food Drive, we will support your efforts by supplying you with posters and flyers at no cost. You just give us the details and we’ll take care of the rest right away.
If you have any questions about our supporting role in your Food Drive efforts, please feel free to contact me personally. I will be happy to support you.
